Jane Short is an enameller specialising in individual pieces of enamelled silverware and jewellery. Using the traditional techniques of champlevé and basse-taille, her work is a rich and evocative exploration of colour and imagery.

Many of Jane’s pieces are commissioned to mark or celebrate a special occasion, from wedding anniversaries to the marking of the Millennium. Items include boxes, bowls, decorative plates and chargers, tableware, and, in conjunction with the silversmith Clive Burr, clocks. Jane also makes items of enamelled jewellery such as brooches, earrings and pendants.
